Question need to brag, GS400 got spanked...but question

ok ok,

Last night I sparked up my Rx7 since I had to take her out for a spin. I was out of the country and once back I had to take the baby out for a ride at night.

Well I had to say I was happy to be able to smoke a lexus GS400 although it was not off the line but heck I got the jump on him. The guy was asking for a spank he kept staring I know I know a freaking V8 with 300hp with a 1/4 mile under the 15s and yet I spanked it. Well yeap freaking yes! I owned a nice lexus SC400 and was part of the www.clublexus.com forum when it started...never thought a stock ported 12a could make a GS400 sweat it. hahahah

cool thing is that the guy gave me props...cool guy.

now in order to keep this in the general section in the first gen forum...

I'm about to install a WEBER 45DCOE lake city carb kit. Will I notice a lot of difference from the modded nikki I got? is it even worth it, or should I wait for a ported engine? I bought it because it looks nice and I have never seen or had a straight flow system in a 12A before. I have had mikunis but never a Lake city's system. I'll post some pictures later of the system.

always glad to hear that a modern-day-chunk-mobile gets it's *** kicked by the little rotary than can ...

well, i can't speak on the Weber/LCR manifold, but i would imagine you'll feel the top end liven up a bit.
