Need alternator for 1984 12A (prefer in Dallas)

10 phone calls reveal a low price of $90 + core for a new alternator so I'm gonna take a stab at rebuilt/used. To avoid shipping costs I'm hoping we have a North/East Texas member that has a rebuilt or used alternator that'll put me back on the road.....

I live in Grand Saline. Let me know where you are if you have the part and we'll set a time to meet.

What about dankus' 130 amp buick lasabre install, how much would that be?

I'm willing to do it but was trying to get the car running by Monday and probably won't be able to if too many mods are required. I read the "electrical issues" thread just now that talked about it. Off hand do you know if the Dankus info is posted in specificity? If not I'll search back....
