need advise for fixing dash cracks, rust spots and broken oil cooler

there re pics to show what i am talking about, except for the dash cause everyone knows what that looks like. the mounting bracket for the oil cooler broke off, is there any way i can fix this? for the rust spot its right beside the wiper. im not too sure what to do about this. i was thinking about cutting this part off of my GSLSE parts car and then using it to patch that section. sound logical? now for the dash cracks. i have a brand new dash cover still in the bag and everything, its just i dont think itll look too great. has anyone tried to use some form of adhesive and/or filler and then painting or dying to fix this problem? i was thinking use staples(in moderation) to hold he crack in place then use some major adhesive to hold it together and then apply a filler to any very liitle space thats left. after wards remove the staples and sand it smooth and then paint. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks.

for the oil cooler there should be two nuts on the other side to take that part off with then just put a new mount on. Looks a litte odd to me though, I dont remeber any of them being round.

Sand the rust spot down an see how bad it is, then patch with metal or body filler.

For the Dash, I plan to take one and cover it with fiberglass and add a Tach and guage pods to it. someday.

That is your 79???

this is my SA, its an 80. crazy. i would take more pics but im waiting till after i get the rest of the GSLSE suspenion and get the epilsons on. the deal with the oil cooler is that the part that is messed up is like a rubber bushing(?) im guessing its to allowing the oil cooler flexability. theres not another nut i dont think on the other side. the rubber had some adhesive or something attaching it to the brackets. ill look at it some more and see what i can come up with.

as for the carb spacer, man i know. that is crazy. it was actually a solid piece that was machined down using a CNC macine and its supposed to help a lot from what i gather from the previous owner. he told me that is i decide to not run the holley or if i get a racing beat intake he wants that intake back bad. i plan on running a side draft after a while so i dont think ill see much use with that setup.

The cooler should have two mounts, One on each side. With a rubber shock in between the part that bolts to the cooler and the part that bolts to the Rad. But that one looks different then any I have seen. Maybe it is from an eariler car.
