Nasty Noise

I am getting a really loud fast repeating noise from the location of the transmission when going around turns to the right at high speeds. I also getting a similar noise from the same area making left turns but it's not as loud. Does anyone have any idea what maybe causing this. I think that it sounds something like the transmission or driveshaft hitting the side of the body from under the car. Please give me some ideas.

check the tranny mount.. had that happen to me a while back. you can change the mount with the trans and stuff still in the car....

Hi Zaxonr34, is this noise like a ratcheting sound like gears meshing. I get the same noise when I make turns at high speed going to the left or right. I tried using differant gears and in neutral, but it makes no differance.

The tranny mount sounds like a good fix, I've noticed that when I keep my hand on the shifter I can feel it moving.
