Very nice!

The shifter looks a bit long to me, but the idea is great. Love the wheel. I'm a wood worker and had been considering 'upgrading' some of my more deteriorated trim pieces with some wooden accents.

I could make a shifter. Steering wheel would be a bit tougher. Are these your creations?

Looks great!

yes the shift **** was my creation. a friend has a lathe so we gave it a shot. i made an aluminum threaded insert so the **** has some stiffness and strength. the steering wheel is not my work. it is a nardi classic wood steering wheel. they are hand made in italy.

Been thinking about breaking out the router and trying to replicate the stock stereo & shift surround in hardwood.

we made a shifter like that once in aluminum, it may look weird, but it does put the **** right next to the wheel

The nardi is just pure sex. I have to have one. How is the diameter compared to stock? I would hope a bit smaller? The stock one always interferes with my legs.

I've been wanting to see what an FB interior would look like with a nardi wheel for my wood panel cargo-area idea (some of you might remember...no I haven't forgotten ha)

The diameter on my wheel is around a 1/2" smaller than the stock. my wheel is 365mm but if you have a problem with your legs hitting then just look for a 330mm wheel. it should clear fine.

Momo Super Indy, made in 85 just like my 7. Miata wood e-brake handle and lighter. I was looking at a Nardi shifter but stuck with this one for now. Figured the wood trim with the black/brown interior looked good.

RX-8 seats, looks good!

I'm thinking of going with a Grant for a while, until I can afford a nicer wood wheel. I think they're period correct for the first gens and look good!
