Nice ride. Welcome to the turbo first gen crew I only have one suggestion. Please put you an air filter on there. Not doubting your word or anything, but that engine looks like a 12A with that beehive oil cooler.

I'm pretty sure all 84 and 85 cars had the beehive, including the GSL-SE

Actually, the GSL-SE is one of the better front0mount oil coolers for rotaries and lots of track FC guys put them in. It is actually an overkill oil cooler especially compared to the behive.

Nice car bay the way. Gotta love turbo FBs.

The front mount oil coolers have different oil line enry points between the FB and FC oil coolers. I have a FC oil cooler on mine. No biggie.

Just about every '79-'82 oil cooler that I have delt with leaks somewhere. I have yet to have a second gen leak. That's why I went with a S4 oil cooler on mine.

yeah, but the oil filter neck is definitely a T2, maybe with the FMIC he didn't want to block the whole front of the radiator. IDK but the bee hive is weired.

but sweet car regardless of oil cooler.
