my s4 engien swap. last proble to solve

ok evrything is hooked up and stuff is running almost perfect. i'm running back and cleaning stuff up. i noticed something. i dont have any of the lines for this hoook up(the stuff circled in black. all 3 lines are jsut laying over there. i was wondering what they do and what that switch circled in red does.

The thing in Red in the cruise control. It is activated by vacuum.

Sorry I cant help you 13B4Port. As DF said, the red is the cruise control servo, you could block off at least that vacuum line if youre not gonna run cruise.

wow, I didnt know the cruise control was controlled by vacuum on the s4.

Actually, the switch in red is not for the cruise control (although, that would be tapped into the vacuum line nearby). It's a switch that detects whether manifold vacuum is present or not and sends a signal to the ECU.
I believe the S4 equivalent is called a Pressure (Boost) Sensor, although it varies it's signal with vacuum and the -SE version is just a switch..

The two solenoids in black control the ACV.
