My "old school" 85 GSL-SE updates:

I was wondering if my paint would come back, it had been parked under a tree for who knows how long by the previous owner AND the front hood has a large section of the hood in Black...

But, wax on wax off yesterday and she looks much better...I still need a new buffer, but it would really come back I think now...

Today the new High Performance tires were put on...Needless to say, MUCH better handling then the tiny 185 series M&S tires he had on her...

Tommaro, I take it over to a local RX-7 guru type who should be able to "dial in" the steering situation...

She still needs shocks though, can anyone recommend a Shock/strut combo that is well, more suiuted to my old self...I would like perhaps better handling/firmer then stock but without breaking the bank...

KYB's perhaps?
Anyone know where the best value is?

Thanks much for any & all imput.

I'm selling tokico HP's... they ride nice with a stock spring, however I'm also selling Racing Beat springs.

Nice SE

I run KYB's with the Racing Beat springs and it rides firm but nice. Plue the KYB's are around $45 - $55 each.

Thanks guys,
Buffumguy1: did the RB springs change the height at all?

Rotor vs. Piston:
How much are you selling for and are they for the SE?

Ya, it sets slightly lower. I think RB says 3/4" lower all around, but now I have 16" wheels on, so the car sets about stock.

Cool, sounds like a nice setup...
I am sure I could use springs too.
