my new GSL
my new GSL
so, I got a 82 GSL today...and it's a ******* rocket. It's the GSL posted in the for sale section, it was rotorhead's. but the delortto carb he has in it is too big, and it's running way too rich. so, my options are:
keep my na 13b and get it swaped in there for free.
or sell the 13b (which will make someone very happy,) and save up to get the 12a streetported.
i think i like the 12a's better. after having a 13b and a 12a, i love the 12a no question.
does anyone have any suggestions or opinions?

you won't be downgrading...
What creates power is a proper mixture of gas and air. If there's too much of either, the power suffers. If you rejet your Dellorto and tune it to what you've got in there right now, you'll get alot of power from the engine you've already got
Less work, and jets are cheap. Afterward, if you *still* want to do something else, you can.
The N/A 13b... is that sitting in your garage or something? From what, a second gen? Yeah, someone would be *very* happy to take it off your hands. I would just keep the 12a, save up to get it ported, but tune your Dell to run properly in the meantime.
If it's a "******* rocket" right now... rejetting the dell won't lose you power, it will gain you power.

sorry, i was spacing out and talking about putting the stock nikki back on. but i talked to the guy who was interested in buying it and he is fine with me keeping it. i dont have too muchmoney right now though. so i think im just going to keep the 13b. it's either that or get the a/f ratio thing installed. that will cost quite a bit anyways.
