Wasnt really trying to insult you, I actually thought it was chicken wire for a second...
So, your daily driver has more horsepower than your race car? If I were you I would have kept the N/A 7 as the DD and the 3rd gen as the race car, it has about 20x the potential, and the FB has 20x the reliability.
So, I have to ask...
If the FB is your race car, what performance advantage does the grill you "built" give your car? And for some reason I think if you actually owned the 3rd gen, you wouldnt have made that comment....

I dont know if it will fold, dont think it has that much surface area. However you are correct on it just cutting down airflow. I have a few friends that think this stuff is cool, its all the rage in "rice-dom" The factory louvered grill is better looking and aids in directing airflow.

Double Ds for me to share

The red car is a camaro and i wouldn't be caught dead driving it. the FB has a bridgeport with a weber so the FD does get better fuel mileage. You try to pick up chicks in a 21 year old car. the Fd works much better for that. I'm building a new 13brew full bridgeport t88 turbo engine for the FB sould lay down close to 700 rwhp on C16 race fuel. the grill is something i wanted to try to give it a different look since it already has custom tails

It isn't my cup of tea really and I am not feeling the Fog lights either.
If I were going to do fog lights on the stock bumper I would get the JDM/Aus front turn signal lenses and housings that have the clear lenses beside the Amber turn signals. Put some tiny halogen bulbs in the clear lense portion and off you go! Looks good too!
IMHO I don't think fogs look good at any location on the stock SA/FB bumper or valence. But the IMSA front bumper that has the square cutouts for the fog lights looks good with them installed.

I too think that inward curve might look a bit better. Maybe painting it to match or maybe black would help the appearance. Then maybe the outward curve appearance would not be so noticeable and it might look better.

I was thinking about doing something like that myself. Maybe not anymore, by stock grill is broken. actually I might try to do a grill like that, anything is better than nothing.
