My locations are genuine!
I have received some comment on my locations. They are genuine!.
Cloud Nine is the best surfing location in the World with 30 foot waves. Its at Mindanao a Moslem island in the southern Philippines where the Pacific swell hits the 10,000ft deep trench producing massive surf.
Peak of God , a 5445metre high mountain, is in Xinjiang a Moslem province in west China- south of Mongolia, north of Tibet and on the Afganistan border. Fantastic snow skiing eight months of the year and then you get winter!
I have to wait for holidays 4 times a year to drive my Rex. Not the ideal local road conditions, they use a bulldozer to tow trucks up the worst sections of the mountain road. No place for a sports car, but you get really interesting local vehicles.
Being able to log on to the RX7club keeps me warm when its minus 35degreesC!

Im from Mindanao, land of the Moros but I havent been home in 25 years.

wackyracer- a beautiful island but no economic base> Doctors are leaving there to become nurses in the USA. I am mainly in the north around Butuan and Siargo. Regarding Moros, the MNLF are interesting politically. The book Under the Crescent Moon is worth reading to see what has happened in the last 25 years
