where's the oil leaking from? font of the engine, left or right side? this will help us determine the source of the leak. my guess will be either the oil cooler or lines, the omp gasket or lines or front cover gasket..

the RB muffler looks beautiful. nice tone isnt it?

Nice looking interior.

Is that the stock LE stereo? The stock '80 still had ***** and a mechanical tuner. I've never seen an early LE before.

DD - ya the LE got the JDM "deluxe" radio with independent treble and base, as well as fader controls for standard 4 speaker system - thus 4 *****. Yet a THIRD SA version came with the 80 XX Anniv (I think) and the LS versions. Have all 3 in my parts collection. Last 2 radio versions used the rectangular-open-faced console panel, not the "2-hole" radio panel (ie, 2 holes for 2 radio ***** to poke thru) of the standard SAs.
All these radios still had a mechanical tuner...
However - the Lizard is an option I hadn't seen before...

Hey, Just saw your post about other 1st Gens in Alaska. I'm in Anchorage, and I've got an 80 10th anniversary that I just finished restoring. Your car was a great find! Like many, many others, I'd also suggest leaving the drum breaks, just to keep it original. Good luck!

This is just my $.02.If you are going to do any city driving i would upgrade suspension, braking systems that's what i did to my '79 after a near collision with a child riding a bicycle. You maybe able to control the car but you won't be able to control traffic. Since then IMO Safety > Originality

Any autoparts store can get the stock NGK BR7EQ plugs if that's what you want. No need to order them online, but if you must, Mazdatrix should have them.
