My left from wheel is making a noise

I just started noticing it today, when i'm going abour 20-50mph, my left front wheel is making a low-toned whirring noise that increases with speed until about 50, and then I don't hear it anymore. What could this be?

Probably your wheel bearing. Does it sort-of sound like a slight scraping noise?

to check to see if the berrings are crushed or broken. just that side up and grab each side of the tire and move it to see if there is exsesive play..

it could also be worn out disc pads rubbing on the rotor..

There isn't a scraping sound, but now that I think about it, it proabably IS the brakes. I've had problems with the front-left brake pad rattling around, and causing me some problems. I'm going to take a look-see later today.

Thanks!
