My headlights wont go down . Where do i start?
Start by checking the switch on the dash. There is a rocker switch on the dash that will keep them up. I panicked first time i had my car and it was that. Something to check befroe starting to worry
Think its on the left hand side (been a bit since ive been in the car), black rocker, think it shows a headlight projecting light down, could be wrong tho

I already cheled that little butom cause the first time it happened i freaked out also but they used to go down not nothing at all they wont go down and the little button is not on
the little twisty thing that says something like " blah blah fusible link" on a yellow sticker with jap written on it?
edit* I twisted them and now they are down but i would like it to be automatic i hear a click when even i triy lifting them using the button but still no avil

I bet one of your fusible links burned out. They look like 4 little loops of cloth covered wire that plug in with spade connectors on the drivers side of the engine compartment. If you check the FSM you could figure which one controls the light motors but it may even look burned (if not check all with a multimeter for continuity).

now vice versa they wont go up lol
RATBOY: i still hear the motor trying to make the lught go up so i wouldnt think a fuse blew, also i see none discolored

I think it could still be the fusable link. It may be slill sending enough power through them for the motors to make noise but not enough to bring them up. I've had this happen. Also check all the conections to the motors. Something may have come a little loose.

Yeah, but it doesn't explain how both of the gears failed at the same time unless he put some unusual force on both of them. Sounds like an issue where the motors can't get enough current to get past slip torque, however I'd think a fuseable link would burnout from the spot resistance if it started to decay. If the fuse was defective, that might explain it, so replacing it and testing that sounds like your best bet to me.
