Flooded?

Im guessing its flooded unless its something else. I've read that these rotarys flood easy and they unflood really hard. I have an 85 GSL-SE and when i first started to fire it up after it had sat for like 7 years i cranked and cranked and cranked getting little bits of ignition happenening but not really getting anywhere. Snooping around the dash i found a switch i didnt know what the switch was for but i soon found out that it was the fuel pump shut off switch. After cranking with it off for a bit then switching it back on it ran purfect

Take the plugs out and blow them dry with an air gun or spray them out with something that will dry them like either or electric parts cleaner. After that, hold the pedal to the floor, crank her over, and she'll start. I had the same problem with my SE after sitting for some time, and this worked perfectly.
