My wife is a forum member, and likes my car... mostly.

She loves the exhaust sound and the look of the car. And she REALLY loves how it drives.

She hates the fact that I hardly ever let her drive it, and how much $$$ and time I spend on it...

I told her when we started getting serious, I would never drive anything except my RX day-to-day. I told her we can get somthing bigger for shopping, road-trips etc, but the seven stays... ALWAYS!

Even when we had a our daughter two years ago (was it really two years already!!!???), I volunteered I'd put a backseat in the car, but I was still keeping it

I also said to her, "Please don't ever ask me to choose between you and my car. I'm not saying you'd lose for sure, but you might..."

 

i personally feel about my rex the same way i feel about my 1976 KZ900.

it's not the answer that really upsets them... it's the pause before we answer.

"honey, do you love that car more than me?"
-insert a nice 30 second pause...and a slight groan-
"well........"

and then she went to stay with her best friend for 2 days. needless to say i still have the bike.
