Is she flying commercial or military. On a military flight I brought back a whole turbo kit in my checked bags one bag weighed 66 lbs. Customs didnt even look.

it can be if she tries to hide something or they feel that what she brings on the plane can cause harm to someone. should be ok as long as she doesnt pack any weapons like a samarui sword, lol

<--- looks like a good idea to me. I think your outa luck on getting anything big. One she has to carry it. Two she has a limit to the stuff she can carry. Tell her to goto autobachs and get you a steering wheel adapter. and cup holders

Where in Japan is she going? Since you have a 1st gen other than picking up little trinkets I'd skip going to autobacs. She would have much better luck finding parts for your car at a used parts store. You can find good used parts for dirt cheap. Once before I got into the whole rotary thing I used to frequent a used parts shop in okinawa and would walk by an entire turbo kit for a 12a, suspension parts and rims and they sat there for about four years and no one has picked them up. Ha, I wish I was there right now.

tell her anything, cause you should be thankful enough if she brings you back anything. I know my girl wouldn't spend over a couple bucks on me.
