My gas tank is troubling me, what should I do?

It's not actually a problem, but I'd like to be safe about this. The gas tank on my car has been sitting relatively idle for about a year now. I'm getting ready to fill 'er up and get this baby rolling, but I feel like I should flush the tank or something first? Any ideas?

TIA

Just throw some gas in it, go through one full tank and then check the filter.

84... get under it and undo the 14mm? bolt in the tank... drain the old gas and pour/flush some new gas in it... reinsert new bolt and go go GO

what he said, flush it. make sure and put some fuel system cleaner in to eat deposits and any rust that has accumulated.
