Hey, i just had to talk a little about my car, so i guess i say a little about it. it may be a long story. so bear with me. Alright, i got my first car last year when i was 15, it was a 1987 chevrolet celebrity, 2.5 liter four cylinder. My parents got it for me for 300 bux. Then they bought my identical twin a 1983 celica gt-s, with a much higher cool factor than my car obviously. So then this year my twin sold his celica and bought a corolla gt-s, even cooler. I still had my celebrity at this point. Well, a couple weeks ago it all changed, i got my liscence like 5 months ago, and i drove my chevy for like a week, then the cluchwent out and my parents sold it. I was fairly bummed out, then i saw the light. My parents felt sorry for me so they said they would get me another low priced car if i found a good one. I loooked around and then i found it, in the southside of Olathe was a 1979 mazda rx-7 that had no rust and only minor dents, with a rebuilt carb and some new distributor wires and stuff on it. Then i looked at the price, it was only 800 dollars. So me and my older bro drove out there, and looked at it and we got it a week later. We attempted to fix the spongy brakes but made little progress. We just got it fixed and i couldnt be happier with my car. Its cool factor is way higher than my old cars, and i have a 4speed instead of an automatic. Now i just have to do some work to jine so i can compete with my brothers. My twin brother is getting a 3rd gen supra turbo, and my older bro is getting a datsun 280zx turbo. Well if anyone has any advice for me about the first gen rx-7 or anything i'd appreciate it. Or any stories about how they got theirs.
