measuring the hell with it, I have built about 15 motors(piston motors) the only thing I ever measured was the crank journals to know what size of bearings to order, and they are all running strong except for a d-50 motor i rebuild for a friend it had a cracked piston that we didnt realize but it ran like a bat out of hell on 3 cylinders hehehe

Luis:

I grew up in Puerto Rico where the are lots of rotaries, but your
car is the BADDEST I've ever seen. Hope you enjoy that bad boy
for 50 more years, at least.

Houston, WE HAVE A PROBLEM!!!

I had to open the engine again.

I was ready to check for end play, but the E-shaft would not move. It would only move if i tapped it with a rubber mallet. So I opened the block and found a small scratch on the shaft and that's where it was stuck. It also ruined the bearing. So My friend gave me a new shaft and I bought a new bearing. I'll close her again tomorrow.

I'm actually happy I get to do it again:D

luiml73 05-19-05 10:03 AM

I paid some old Cuban man $120 to do both.

That girl is driving Argentina nuts

A rich kid down here claims he banged her, but I want evidence.

candyassmiler 05-20-05 11:53 AM

she about drove me to a nut.

luiml73 05-22-05 04:53 PM

My CP rack and pinion kit arrived yesterday, so I'll be installing the kit and then the motor.

luiml73 05-23-05 12:58 PM

Installing the CP rack kit is no picnic without proper tools. But I'm getting there.

Darknephlim2003 05-23-05 03:02 PM

This may sound like a stupid question, but is there anyway to reapply the nitride coating? And if not, what does the nitride coating do for the housings?

RX7_ARG 05-23-05 03:47 PM

holyshit a CP! you´re god

Wish me luck:D
