i have a mercury 2 1/2" exhaust

the middle resonator (muffler?) doesnt connect to anything and thus is sitting aboput 7cm off the ground...

i have the rubber mount connected furtherback, and the bolts at the rear resonator, but i cant see anything to connect thius part of the exhaust to...

I have the same problem too, with the second gen presilencer (its bigger) it makes the exhaust hang real low, I hit it on most anything on the road. But hey, it sounds cool.

My TurboII has a complete Racing Beat exhaust, turbo back. It used to hang pretty low and bounce a lot. I replaced all the exhaust mounts and its cured. From behind the car when it's driving on the road it only bounces down less than about an inch as compared to like 2 and a half before. I can't really tell from that pic where your mounts are at but it looks liie you don't have many or any under there. If you don't or if they are spaced out to far maybe you should just try adding 2 more.
