My car 1981 Fb

Hello guys !

New guy - New car .

Great forum you got , nice to finally be a member of the club

My car is a 1981 Fb , US - California model , it was imported to Norway in 1985 , at least thats when its first registerd here . 105000 miles on the counter .

Thanks for the comments !

Well , thinking about doing a Weber conversion + header / exhaust upgrade .
Some rims would be nice to . It has a classic look now , but hard to keep it that way i think hehe

By the way , im wondering if my car is a " granny " version , since my speedo only reads 80 mph / 140 km/h . This is the only Fb ive seen whit that , any inputs ?

I have the same gauges in my 1982 GSL, what I have read says that because America had the 55 mph speed limit those years they made it so that cars speedos would only read up to 85mph, to keep people from feeling tempted to speed.

80-82 US models were required to have an 85mph speedometer.
Clean looking car. I see it has the 79-80 wheels. They look good on a silver car.
