I got in an accident, my 7 is totalled, i have a concussion and i gaint patch of hair missing from my head. Imma get some sleep.

what happened was that i was making a left turn, mean while there were two oncoming cars that were going to make a left, (2 lane each way, single line in the middle).

Well i couldn't the lane right next to them, but i could see a ways down... so i just looked there, and waited about 8 seconds, then i went, in the middle of my turn i was T-Boned. Knocked out.. the next thing i remember was waking up on the ground strapped to a bed,..


My 7 got the **** knocked out of it, by a giant truck going 40 mph into the passenger door. My head looks like someone grabbed it and started scraping it on the cement. My dad saw the damage while i was at home.... If i had a passenger... they would be dead. Even the paramedics said i was extremely lucky to be alive, and the fact that i only walked away with a bloody head, and a concussion.



to make matters more ironic i was on the way to the hospital to see my grandma.

 

Hate to hear any bad news about any of our Rx7s, but more importantly I hope that you recover fast and feel better soon.

What happend as far as tickets or anything, were any tickets given? Glad to hear your doing better.

THe other driver was fine, according to the towing dude.. all the spectators thought i was dead. The paramedics thought i wouldn't survive the night. The bumper from the truck ended up in the passenger seat, so if i had a passenger they would have been dead.


aside from having a massive headache, i'm doing pretty good, even the doctors in the hospital were shocked that i didn't break anything.

 

I would like to thank everybody for their support. I should only be out of comission for the rest of this week.

 

any word on the 7? insurace?

Once again glad to see ur ok. Hope to see some future plans for another FB. Maybe even a safer car like a nice jetta mk4 as a DD.

Wait a minute here. Whose fault was the accident? If it was the other drivers it does not matter what sort of insurance you have because you will collect on the other guys insurance. You should get medical either way….\


edit: oh its your fault that blows, you should still get your medical bills covered.
