my 1st rebuild.

first opened up.



ported





just checking inplay i installed the thrust washer nuts before i did fyi. (and cleaned the counter weight)





this is before i painted the intake manifold.



mods will be
light weight flywheel
side draft mukuni
RB collected header

engine
12a street port all three irons intake and egsuast
all new oem seals and 93+ corner springs

Congrats Rexy- lookin good - you are ahead of me on my rebuild.
Done the cleaning, organizing, painting but still awaiting a center iron, so I think I am done till spring (no garage, and unheated shed won't cut it in Alaska over winter)

the ceramic makes it nice and smooth. this is pretty much the only paint i use since it comes in alot of colors and its only about 5-8 bucks a can

a great day today, got the engine installed and it fired right up!! ive been dreaming of this day for some time now.. first rebuild under the belt!

that silver duplicolor sucks though imo.. I used black and "aluminum" and a little bit of gas on the engine, the black was fine but the aluminum ran everywhere lol

update: that video was when i forgot to plug in the ALT wirring and was just running off the batt which had less than 10v
