must be the thousandth person.....

OK wow this premix oil thing is crazy. I don't beat the hell out of my car, but I don't drive soft. Usually I go by the situation if i'm on an open road or in a parking lot i'll have fun but not a lot. Do I need to worry about premixing? also you talk about the OHM how do you check to see if it is working? because the last thing I need is my apex seals to go bad.

premixing is not really needed if the OMP is still functional, if you want to premix, run the gas low, and your measured amt. of 2 stroke oil, then fill up.

Just throw a little bit of premix into the gas tank whenever you fill up and you will be fine. So long as your omp is still working that is.

By the way, I see that you are in Indiana. What part of Indiana?

Here is a quick write up somebody did about the OMP. I was just starting down this road when I lost a rear apex seal. Too little too late?

I guess it's probably useless but would it be cool to use premix with the OMP working? That way if it breaks then you always have the premix. Or would it be pointless and you may as well remove the OMP then.

It is pretty pointless. The previous owner of my car always put a little bit of premix into the tank just in case, but I think its overkill. If you know your omp is working then let it do its job. I don't see it hurting anything if you do run a bit of premix though.
