MSD ignition woes part 2
MSD ignition woes part 2
well i had ran my msd ignition through my ignitor for some time and just a couple days ago it went out completely. So i decide wth, ill use the green/purple wires. and bypass the ignitor. I do that and now i have no power to my leading coiil, but my traling coil works fine. any ideas anyone?
the small red wire still needs 12 volts when the ignition turns on(this switches on the msd.....
i like using the ignitors to run the msd's because its a much stronger signal, thus no ignition crossfiring or missing , but the way you hooked it up , it will work too

the only wires i changed between my ignitor setup and this were the white wire, and used the purple and green instead. So why stuff isnt working i dont know. Do i need to change somethign else?
the msd install i very simple...
purple and green= mag pickup..... maybe you dont have one of the wires hooked up right
orange and black= to the coils... orange+ black-
small red= switched 12 volts...
big red= battery +
big ground= batt -
double check your mag pickup wiring, i bet thats it...
