MSD and Coil set up

I am running a MSD6A with stock 2nd gen coils.
One would think that the MSD box should work with the MSD coils, right? There are some owners that do this and it works for them. Believe it or not, MSD actually has a rotary specialist. He says that for some reason the MSD coils don't work as well as the stock coils. On his PERSONAL car he runs 2nd gen coils with the MSD.
If this setup is good enough for the MSD rotary specialist, it is good enough for me.
There are other systems out there that are just as good. You will end up spending more $$ though. Check out Jacobs.
