MSD 6A Tach Signal Accuracy
I recently deleted my trailing ignition and so I went ahead and ran the signal wire to the spade terminal on the MSD box and now once again have a perfectly working tach.
My question is, I've been told that above roughly 6,000rpm the tach becomes increasingly inaccurate but this varies from car to car, would the MSD signal help correct this inaccuracy or does the fault fall in the mechanism for the tach itself?
Just something I've wondered about.
Thanks in advance
