Mound Restoration 2003 website is now live

What started as an innocent job to get the fuel injectors rebuilt has escaladed into a full engine bay DETAILING, as well as some other upgrades (TII alternator, probably direct fire, etc).

Progress is slow, I'm cleaning EVERYTHING. Last night I was dremeling the headlight linkage; I think I may qualify for insanity, but damn i want a clean engine so so bad.

I'll let you know when I get updates up....enjoy and just wait until you see all the pieces of the oil metering pump (someone please tell me they know how it goes pack together....)

Mound Restoration 2003

Right on.

The paint is oxidizing, the trim paint is severely cracked, & the color of that Saturn is a horrible, horrible color.

Thanks for the kind words...as we all know it's merely a labor of love with these cars. I plan to put up a main page explaining the history of the Mound, that will come soon. I'll probably be updating the page once a week with new progress and photos.

Old school HTML Generator = Notepad. I am a huge fan of simplicity...

Feels good to finally be working on the Mound again after daily beating it for so long.

Right on.

Your site is very nice indeed. It's always good to see a RX-7 owner who takes pride in his ride.

you don't want mine! lol it's in pieces and I bought it for $500 canadian with a spare frame, engine, tranny, axles, suspension, but no spare body... all I have to do is take the body off the one frame, and put it on the other with all the gear on it... lol

it's a project for next winter... what can I say?

jeez... sounds like all of my vehicles...

Lookin good! The SE OMP looks a bit different than a 12A pump, but try Mike Lowe at www.loweperformance.com. He sells rebuild kits for OMP's. Like $10

Brownmound, this is fabulous! I finally know now what the 5th and 6th port actuators look like. At least, I can find ONE of them on my car now. Is the other one close by?
Thanks again, & keep it up!

Holy cow Manntis, I just read the entire website you posted. Gotta love that drive for completing such a huge project . I even emailed him and told him about my 7 and I, and gave him some words of encouragement. I wanna see the finished product dammit .
