More questions

If I have read alot of these threads correctly the s4 series motor was a 13B fuel injected engine that was put in the 2nd gen rx7 86-88. My 1985 GSL-SE also has the same motor in it right? I was thinking about putting a turbo on mine and wasn't sure if I could use one off of an 86-88 and if so would it bolt right up or is there alot of modification involved. If I'm not reading things correctly can someone please enlighten me. I'm also thinking that if the engine in my 85 is the same as the 86-88 then all the parts should be interchangeable right? Just wondering in case I run across some decent used bargains....

not exactly.your -se has a 6port 13b,2nd gen N/A has a 6port 13b a fwe internal differances but still compatable. 2nd turbo has a 4port 13b not as easy to swap parts. i you were to use a 2nd gen turboon your motor then you need to use and adapter to make it clear the bottom side of you intake.
