Direct fire ignition maybe?
Pick up an electric fan from a junk yard and use that instead of the belt driven one.
Taking your intake manifold off and cleaning all the years of buildup off of the inside might be helpful depending on it's condition.

So many ideas, hard to nail it to one thread. Do some searches on the verbage thats out there, TB mod, ACV, Direct Fire, just like all above has mentioned. And its going to be difficult getting too much without intake and exhaust mods (unless youve already done that).
