mmmmm Pineapple

I like pineapples on my pizza. Seeing as i like them on my pizza i thought maybe id like them on my car. Is there a noticable and worthwhile gain out of pineapple racing sleeves?

I think the general consensus of everyone is hit or miss. If you do a little searching around, you'll read stories of engines sucking in pieces of metal ie. NOT GOOD.

That story is only about the inserts you put in yourself. If you send your sleeves into pineapple and have them do it for you, it wont be a problem.

I was not aware that Pineapple offered a DIY kit. I was under the impression that Pineapple did ALL the conversions.

Nope, you can just buy the sleeves if you wish.

Have they changed that policy?

They offer it as a DIY kit, or if you send in your sleeves, they will put in the inserts for you. The reason why they started the DYI kit is beacause of a lack of cores for the sleeves.

All of the failures that people have reported are from the DYI kits, which obviously means an impropper installation.
