Mixing oil info

Ok, I have found something out the interesting way. Ok I do mix my gas, 1/2 ounce to a gallon, cuz I am running omp. Works great, till one day oh now she doesn't want to go past 5000, s*** I blew my motor then came a nice thump sound from the exauhst, and a tar ball of stuff comes out. Well it seems a have free flow exauhst now, my cat exploded. Anyone experience this before?
