NE Missing Air pipe on 84' 12a

I'm replacing the exhaust on my 84 Rx7 GS. It's a stock 12a.

It appears that I'm missing everything from the connections at the exhaust to one rubber hose that comes off the air control unit. I see that mazdatrix sells an air pipe. My questions are:

1) Are there gaskets between the air pipe and exhaust connection flanges or do you use a liquid gasket?

2) I have seen a factory service manual that shows a 'check valve' between two rubber hoses after the air control unit and before the air pipe. I'm having trouble locating this. "Where do I get one?"

3) Is there anything I'm forgetting besides muffler-connection pipe exhaust gasket (see below)?

If anyone has pictures of their 84 12a's air control unit/air pipe assembly(stock), it would be appreciated.

The check valve should be part of the split air pipe and there is a gasket, comes with it if I remember correctly.

I was just looking at the instructions for converter I purchased. Apparently, I have to cut off the air pipe's flange to the main converter anyway. I guess I just need the air pipe. Used would be perfect considering I don't have smog tests (yet).
