mindtrain exhaust questions

I have a question about the mindtrain full exhaust system. I have one on my fb , it came with it when I bought it, and I can't really find anymore information about it.

Does it have glasspacked tips? The shop said it is a full exhaust that splits into a dual muffler the connects to two glasspacked tips. So I don't know if its after market tips welded on after the original muffler or not.

The tips do look more shiny then the rest of the system, and I can even see weld marks from the shiny tips onto the old part of the muffler but don't know if it came like that.

Only asking because I kind of wanted flames from the exhaust. just personal preference. I get none, high rpm decelerations only produce machine gun backfire and plenty of smoke. The shop said there is a small exhaust leak on the headers as well. Would this hinder the flame?

I don't know if an of my other mods would hinder it either but they are: modified stock carb, advanced timing ( dont remember how much, I think was either 6 or 8 degrees), plenum chamber and I think thats all for now at least all I can remember.

I will try to post some pictures up soon but its kind of hectic right now.
Thank you.

That sounds like the Mindtrain exhaust as it came with those tips.

Ahh ok thank you.
In your opinions from people who have heard it, do you like the sound? For me Its way to high pitched I guess because of headers.
What is a good deep exhaust? I had borla combined with a resonator and actually really liked that sound on my other car. Will a resonator hurt performance? Not a glass packed or baffeled one, but a straight through one?

I love the sound of the Mindtrain exhaust. I prefer it over the RB streetport system. The only problem with it is that it drones a bit inside the car, but not as much as even my current setup. I wish it was still in production so I could pick one up.
