Actucally I've been driving it for over a week. Joyriding in it all morning today. I like the car a lot, believe me, I have nothing against it, but I'm looking at it from a financial perspective. The car I'm looking at getting is a '93 MX-6 LS, V-6 5-speed, it needs a new motor, and they're selling it dirty cheap. $500 to be exact. In running condition it's probably worth about $4k....I'd probably buy it, fix it, then sell it possibly, unless I decided to keep it as a daily driver. Look at it this way, if I sold it and had the $4k laying around, you'd probably see me back in an TII. You never know. I'm trying to be rather strategic and planning ahead with what I buy and sell, this car is kinda acting as a foothold on buying something nicer. I don't mind putting the work into them.

If the 2nd gen MX-6 is anything like the 1st, i'm glad you feel that way.

I owned a Probe GT(sister car to MX-6) for 3 years and they're not that bad. I know pretty much every common problem they have, and how to fix them, as far as reliability, our cars(RX-7's) don't exactly have a reputation for reliability.

No offense but whata bunch of bull... a myth.... FUD. People think they're unreliable because nobody ever maintained them and they fell to ****. Your average mechanic was/is just too afraid "oooo spooky" of the rotary.

Not reliable? My car has near 160k miles on it and it runs better than most newer cars I see today.

That's kinda funny, cause it's the same way with Probe's/MX-6. The engine bay is a little crammed so nobody likes to work on them, so they give them a bad rap. I never had any major problems with mine, had 145k on it when I got rid of it, didn't burn a drop of oil, good compression, still beat my friends lightly modded FC.

As far as my plans for the other car, not sure. If I decided to keep it I'll be putting the 200hp j-spec 2.5 in it and running that.

Flack from you guys is to be expected, I knew that in advance. *shrug*

I'd like to see $2k, which I think is very fair.

Hehe, I knew you'd like that. How about those few times on those hills, where I just ran away. Remember those? I'm just messin with you. But you do realize, and MX-6 with a ZE would be some fair competition for you. We'll see, that kid is supposed to come look at the truck tomorrow, if i sell them both, I may just buy that Ex I was looking at, still dunno how much they want for it though. Forgot to stop today.

That's near Dubois right? I have a camp up north, and have been by Sharon numerous times. We're setting up a meet down here if you're interested. You can pick up my car and take it back with you.
