Might buy 85' RX7 thoughts please!

I am very close to purchasing an 85' RX7 after my mechanic buddy gives me the OK as I am 300 or so miles away.

First off I am at noob at rotaries. My former car was an e36 M3 but I lost it because of money trouble and had to sell. I have a Ninja 250R that I have been driving but it is getting very old so I want a car!

What will I bet getting into? As far as the owner has said its in really good condition, 183k miles, manual transmission, new brakes.

Im also into racing, is this engine OK for putting a turbo charger on it?

Any input would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

I just got one myslef an 84 gs with 66k miles manual tranny. I come from driving a 92 golf mk2 and damn I just fell in love with this money pit. I dunno what else to say I thought after going from american v8s back to vw and then to go to the rx7 I just feel like a newb under the hood of this car. I have been humbled go for it!@
