"Midpipe question"

Does anyone know the degree of the bends needed. To make a section of exhuast pipe to replace the cat? For a 83' LE. Thanks.

if you cut the mid cat of its staright...

The 2 in the front are on somewhat of a bend, too bad the one I have is sold LOL

so if i make a strait pipe to a stock muffler is it going to be really loud? Because the car is some what loud already it has a few exhuast leaks.

On my 85, I had striaght pipe all the way to a muffler, and it wasnt loud at all. It was quite pleasant, sounded better than it does stock I thought.

It really doesn't matter too much. A 4 foot piece of pipe should be long enough to make a custom midpipe.
