Meter gauges

Hi i was wondering if i could could swap my 1980 gauge cluster with an 82'. has anyone done this before? please help

I know I read a thread about this not too long ago but, I can't remember what the conclusion was to this question!

just match up the pins to the conectors with the diagram its easy.
