OK when i went to the meet at marymoore i saw someones car (big surprise )...it was either a GSL or a GSL-SE, i dont remember the color or any other details about it but the only thing that sticks in my mind was the center console...it was redone somehow, either new parts, painted, plated, paneled...i dont know but it looked good! it was either a shiney silver or chrome look...i really liked it but i didnt stay long enough to talk to whoever it was...if that person is on the forum can you let me know what you did? Or if anybody knows who it was can you help me out?

it was one of the first cars there, there were only like 8 cars there (maybe less) when i got there and then i had to leave...so im hoping that someone saw it...Grrr this is making me sooo mad

If it helps i think it was a dark colored car, either green or black or something and i think it had an elecric fan on it? maybe not i dont remember i looked at lots of 1st gen cars...

My '83 GSL has a silver center console. Are you sure it wasn't a stock center console?

 

did it have some white rims on it? it might be moremazdas or captgloval. those are the only fb's that i saw at the last meet and i know its definitly not mine! if you want to know what to do, just wet sand it get in a hot room 70+ and carefuly paint it. it can be a biatch if it fisheyes but it can be done ive done it.

 

Ok people, I'm well aware that this car has interior like that, but this cars was very shiny and good looking...I have an 85 GSL and an 85 GSL-SE myself and I want to know how this person made the console look so good, as mine are badly faded and covered in grime...

RX7Passion, are you sure its not yours? It could be...I could be wrong about the details of the car...like I said, the only thing that stand out in my mind is the really cool looking center console...
