They sold the FD longer in Europe longer than in the US!

The reason the FD failed was it was unreliable, was too complex for the local Mazda mechanic too understand. In contrast the European competitors were sold by specialists who provided good service back-up, while the factory was just down the road not half way round the world.

I agree with Robert, look at the NSX it was not a question of $$$ but Honda provided a far better after sales technical service than Mazda.

lol, not even me would fall for that crap....
even tho. everyone on this website would LOVE a new rotary car to surface, it prolly wont happen for another 5 or so years....at least i think..
