"Master E8125" fuel pump

Hey guys,
I am going to be replacing my fuel pump in my 1981 RX-7 GSL, 12A.

The fuel pump i am considering is the "Master E8125" from advance autoparts.

It says that "Master fuel pumps offer, the look, fit and Performance of OE parts"

I am mainly looking for a pump that is near Stock, mounts with no mods, and has
the right fuel pressure, within spec (3.7~4.7 lb/in). Just a replacement!

Am NOT looking to modify, just replace with a new one.

Does that pump meet these requirements?

Thanks guys!

Here's a thought: go to the advance auto closest to you and have them show you the pump in question. There is a very good chance that no one on the forum is intimately familiar with that specific fuel pump.

Here is the problem & the reason i am asking is that they don't have it in stock
so they have to order them first, which means i have to pay for it before i ever
check it in person.

That is why i am asking for advise. And i have seen the Master pumps mentioned
here before but dont know if it is this same model number.

Thanks!

The attached picture is from RockAuto.com. They list it as an AirTex E8124. The AirTex E8125 they list is the same as the Master E8125 that PartsAmerica shows on their website, so I assume AirTex = Master.

They list it as a replacement for the 81 RX7...$120.89.

Thanks Rich!

They do look like they are the same. But Advance offers it for $89.99 .

Is this pump a good replacement for a stock pump? Anyone know.

Ps: I like those pictures, specially the one of the Rotary engine. One day
i want to paint mine good like that.
