Question Master Cylinder & Reservoir Question...

Ok, I have change my Master Cylinder for my 81 Rx-7. The Master Cylinder is back connected into the Power Unit. Now I am trying to put the reservoir back into the Master Cylinder and when I push oh it down I get it half way and then it dosen't want to go all the way down. I apply alot of pressure but I am afraid I might crack the reservoir.

Anyone know what I can do to make it go all the way down?

Please note I did the following also.

1. Took the top off so it can get air to fall into place easy.
2. I did lubricated the ring "O" seals with Brake Fluid so it can be easy to push down.
3. Only line that is connecte to the master Cylinder beside the Bleeders lines is the Return line.
