Maroon leather seats......
I was wondering if anyone has changed the color of thier leather seats, or what methods are there to do this, besides re-covering them...

I went to a shoe repair place which also does leather repairs, and had my seat repaired.... I asked the guy there, and he said to spray paint them..... So I grabbed some vinol spray, and used that.... I don't know what the results will be, if it will last or not....

Go to you local auto paint store and ask them to make some dye for you. They can color match it to anything you give them. I did it and my door panels are awesome. Cost a nice penny but with the handheld pump air sprayer 6.00 it was easy. Sprayer has a small glass jar that you pour some dye in and then screw the jar on and just spray the object you want to dye.
Make sure you clean the object very good and then use a plastic prep if it is plastic.

My interior is all black, the maroon woulda just throw the interior all outta whack....
As for the paint shop mixing up dye info, that stuff will work on leather ok? You used it on your door panels, which are plastic arent' they?
