Many electrical probs...

Well, my car has been acting pretty weird lately, so i'll put out the list and any help on any would be great..

1. Sometimes my turn signals won't work correctly. My left one will blink at normal speed sometime, but some other times it blinks so fast that the signals don't even blink! is my blinker relay starting to go out?

2. Sometimes when I press the brakes my car tries to die.. As in all lights dim, the tach starts bouncing irratically, and the motor starts to putter. Having the lights on and stereo on at the same time make this worse. could this be a short or dieing alternator?

Also for both events my voltmeter drops dramatically.. With the signals it pulses between 12 and 14 and for the 2nd one it drops to like 10..

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

sounds like alternator isn't drawing enough power, look into the 2nd Gen or GM alt upgrades.

Check your getting a good ground on the taillights

Check the alt belt first, if it is tight and in good condition, have the alt tested. Also check the battery cable connections on both ends.
