Lightbulb Manifold ideas * thinking Cap required*

Helo Boys and Girls.

I need you to put on your thinking caps please.

I will be fitting a set of sidedraughts either Dellorto DHLA or Solex, and need some ideas on how the manifold should look like.

I considered the Lakecities one,but since i have a RHD the steering box is in the way.

1.move the alt to where the a/c compressor sits, and build a wrap around with both on top of the engine side by side. The lenghts of the manifold will be a bit long if you ask me

2.build a manifold with them next to the engine on top of the steering box, where the manifold makes a "2" shape. The runners will then be a bit upwards to clear the steering box and make the carbs level.

Any ideas?

Thanks

karis

pics of your engine bay would be good dont know what a RHD looks like where all the stuff is at. The steering box is by the header right ask one of the aussies theirs are RHD too I think. But there are wrap arounds and there are ones that stick straight out the intakes you might even have to go downdraft? just my 2cents

Thanks,i didnt think about posting a pic of my enginebay.

Here is a pic of it,showing the steering box underneath the brake booster.

I dont really want to get downdraughts,as i have 2 complete sets of side draughts.

Any other opinions?

karis

I dont see why a rotaryshack wrap around manifold would not work. It only looks like the alternator would be in the way.
