Mallory Fuel pump install gone arye?

So I installed a Mallory 4070M fuel pump when my stock one effed off...The mallory ships with an inline fuse that keeps blowing now. Any suggestions as to why this might be happening?

Thanks.

You have 2 most likely reasons, The fuel lines/filter.pickup is partilly blocked causing the pump to work harder, overheat and blow the fuse. 2nd option is wiring/bad ground causing excessive electrical resistance.

Right that was my first thought...I redid the ground wire (right to the chasis), but I suppose the power wire could be bad. The fuel lines and filter are new...but I haven't checked the pickup. What is the best method to do that?
