major electric problems

Ok so here is another problem with me car. After I started the car with ATF cause my car was flooded. The car started and then died and now when i try to start it again.. nothing will turn on. The clock still works but when I turn the car on.. none of the lights will come on and the clock will die.

Now the wierd thing.... with my capacitor hook up (its for the subs) and with the a charger on the capacitor everything will turn on and work fine.

Without the capacitor hook up the clock will pulse and with the capacitor hook up it will run fine

I have no idea what the problem is... ive gone thorough a couple of things but no luck

electrical problem

Have the battery tested. Or if you have another battery put in in and see if it will
start. Do not try and jump start. rx7doctor

Check the battery cables, terminals and ground. Someone on the other forum had this same problem (no power, clock would come on but then dim) and he found that is was a bad connection on the battery cable terminal (he was only getting 1.5 volts to the fusible links). Check you voltage at the fusible links (metal tab where the smaller + battery cable attaches to). See if it is at what battery voltage should be.
