Lug swap idea

Ok, yet another frustrating trip to the junk yard. There where 5 GSL-SE 7's and not ONE 12a.

I just needed some running gear but its that damn bolt pattern problem again.

This got me thinkin about swapin bolt patterns again.

1. Now in theory the rear disk axle of a 1984 5spd GSL-se will bolt up to my 1984 12a. That solves the rear bolt pattern problem.

2. Also in theory i could bolt in the front struts of a 1984 5spd GSL-se then drive away (more or less).

The total cost would be about $200 with new (old) rims.

will it work?

u can swap out the entire front and rear suspension from the se to ur non-se. this will give u a wide range of wheel options.
