lsd swap

I have a dead 81 gsl with a lsd and automatic transmission. I want to pull the lsd and put it in my 84 gs standard transmission.
Have any you done this before?
Will this work without any mods?

Some mods will have to be made, but it's do-able. Search for LSD swap using the search tool. There have been many many threads on this.
